Whoops, he/she/it saw a shadow...it was sunny here today. Well, I am getting fanciful....this is the potato that sort of looked like a groundhog............in my reality.

Well, isn't he perfect for Groundhog day? Every Feb. 2, this painting has to be resurrected and put in a prominent place! I love "him".
There is something exhilarating about painting – the whole creative process, the learnings and the discoveries, and always – the challenges. I started painting in watercolour when the children were leaving home. A few years later, my artist mother suggested oils, and it has become a passion.
