Yesterday, Alexandra and I went for a hike to the Barron Canyon in our end of Algonquin Park. I actually hauled my little compact painting box along, and sat down and painted quickly, while rain clouds closed in. It always amazes me how trees and vegetation relentlessly cling to steep rocks, and thrive. There is a river down below - lots to paint in that location.
